Description
Black denim clouded with white marbled fading, cut by diagonal panel seams that each leave a raw, frayed fringe. The seams sit at different angles on each leg, starting just below the front pockets and crossing the back pockets on the way down, and the marbling falls differently on each side too, so the pair changes as you turn it. The length stops below the knee in a cropped cut, with the leg holding its width right down to the hem. SHELLAC was founded in 2000 by Hideshi Maruya, formerly chief designer at 5351 POUR LES HOMMES, and true to a label that pairs toughness with sensuality, the white fringe slashing across black and white is rough in the best way.
