Description
Chest flap pockets, a double row of black buttons and a front that splits into a sharp V at the hem: the bones of a military jacket, pushed firmly toward the runway. The placket runs on a diagonal, so even buttoned up the silhouette never turns boxy. Buttoned tab cuffs and a small shirt collar finish it. The black twill shows a faint woven depth, so the dark tone reads rich rather than flat. HYSTERICS is the women's high-end line of HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, the label Nobuhiko Kitamura founded in 1984, and its habit of building on military and rock staples comes through clearly in this close-cut tailoring.
